This year’s theme is ‘protect play, protect childhood’. This is to remind everyone that play is critical to a happy and healthy childhood, and therefore should be protected by all.

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At Richmond Toy Library we accept everyone no matter how they identify. Everyone is welcome in our toy library.

Pride Month is particularly relevant to us as toys tend to have gendered connotations which are pushed onto young children. We would like to stop these outdated ideas. Every child should be able to play with the toy that makes them smile!

Come into our library, feel included and borrow whatever makes your child feel happy! See you there! 🌈🌈

💚Inclusive Pop Up Toy Library💚 is happening this month in June too!

We’re excited to be bringing our Inclusive Pop Up Toy Library to North Richmond Community Health for everyone to enjoy!

📍North Richmond Community Health
🗓️Friday 5 June & Monday 29 June
🕒12pm-1:30pm

These are inclusive, supported sessions, with a small selection of toys available to play with on-site or borrow.

✨Click & Collect is available - if you’d like to request specific toys, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to bring them along.

Happy June Everyone!

We have started doing a 🧸✨Stay and Play✨🧸 on the first Saturday of every month.

This means that there’s one this Saturday the 6th. Come down to Richmond Toy Library, to play with some toys and connect with the community.

🧩🌏Today is World Play Day!!🌏🧩

This is a day to acknowledge the importance of play and this year’s theme is “Peace, Inclusion & Freedom”.

At Richmond Toy Library we have acknowledged this day by having a stay and play twice a week in May. Come to our last 🧸✨Stay and Play✨🧸 for this month, on
Saturday!
