🌿Discover one of the Hawkesbury’s most unique locations - St Albans Common

🌿Winding through open landscapes and natural bushland, St Albans Common offers a glimpse into a rare and living part of local heritage. More than just a rural drive, this precious sanctuary continues a long-standing tradition of sustainable stock grazing in a natural environment.

🌿Not far away you will find the historic Settlers Arms Inn. Established in 1836, the Georgian-style inn once served as a vital stopover for Cobb & Co. stagecoaches journeying between Sydney and Newcastle. Today, it remains a beloved destination for travellers seeking a peaceful escape.

🍂 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬...

The air is crisp, the morning's young and the only sounds are birdsong and the crunch of leaves beneath your feet.

As the sun slowly rises above the trees, golden light filters through the branches, warming your face while the rest of the world feels quiet and still.

We wander down towards Roberts Creek, pausing to listen to the gentle sounds of water moving through the landscape. There’s no rush. No schedule. Just time to slow down and notice the little things.

A flash of colour from a rosella in the treetops.

The scent of eucalyptus carried on the cool morning air.

The feeling of being completely surrounded by nature.

These are the moments we love most at Dido's Place. The simple ones. The ones that remind us to slow down, breathe and reconnect with nature.

And after the walk?

Maybe it's a hot chocolate by the fire. Maybe it's a soak in the hot tub. Or maybe it's simply another quiet moment watching the day unfold.

Whatever it is, this is Winter in the Hawkesbury.
