This morning, we were called to a potential cat-astrophe!

The call came through that a kitten was stuck inside the wall of a house.

Once on scene, our crew got to work putting a plan into action to safely rescue the little one while causing as little damage to the home as possible.

Luckily, we managed to gain access and discovered that it wasn't just one kitten stuck in there... but TWO!

Let's just say that some of our crew were a little smitten with the Kittens

We gave them a quick check over and were happy to find that both kittens were purr-fectly fine.

Our friends from NSW SES - Port Stephens Unit even came prepared with cat food to help lure them out.

Last night our crew assisted our Rural Fire Service colleagues at a structure fire in Booral.

Thankfully there were no injuries, and it was great to see strong cooperation and multi-agency teamwork between the services.

A great example of everyone working together to keep communities safe
