***Canteen update for Term 4***
Welcome back, hope you all enjoyed the school holidays, just a quick canteen update.
The canteen will be open tomorrow, don't forget Mexican Monday!
Most stock is available, there will however be no flavoured milk until Wednesday, and Gluten Free Tenders are still unavailable through all of our suppliers, Apologies for this, kids listed as gluten free will have the options of the nachos or ham salads. Hopefully this will be sorted out soon.
I have attached an updated menu, it also went home in the last newsletter. As you can see we have had to adjust some lunch item, and frozen item prices. We held off for as long as we could without adjusting our prices, (the frozen items have been the same price since 2017). but just like everything else the cost has had to rise. We have tried our best to keep these rises as a minimum.
We are also in need for volunteers, especially for fridays I will post the roster soon, but if you think you can help (even if its just 9-11 on a friday) please let me know.

Don't forget tomorrow is Mexican Monday!!!

The feedback we received last week was good but too small, so to keep costs down and bellies full we will be adding rice to our Mexican beef mix, this will go on the burritos and into the nachos.

$4 each or $4.50 with Guac

Nachos and Burritos available (Monday only at this stage)
$4 each with Mexican mince, cheese and salsa
$0.50 extra for guacamole
(Lettuce for burritos when available)

We are trialing Nachos today!
Mild Mexican beef topped with salsa and cheese with a side of corn chips.
***ONLINE ORDERS ONLY FOR THESE TODAY PLEASE AS THERE ARE A LIMITED AMOUNT***
If the kids like them we will open them up to order both ways.

Hi Everyone,

hope you are enjoying the school holidays.
As you can see we are in need of some volunteers for Term 3 if you can help on any of these days please let me know. All you need is a current Working With Childrens Check which is free through Service NSW.

Ideally it would be wonderful to have the following
1 volunteer - Mondays
2 volunteers - Wednesdays
3 volunteers - Fridays

Happy Friday.

Things are a little different at school next week, so here is an update of whats happening with the canteen.

MONDAY CANTEEN IS OPEN as usual but stock is limited as it is the end of term, there are no pies, and only a handful of sausage rolls left. plenty of tenders and burgers and pizzas though.

WEDNESDAY CANTEEN IS CLOSED due to the ANZAC assembly the canteen will be closed all day.

FRIDAY CANTEEN WILL BE OPEN FOR SNACKS AT THE FIRST BREAK ONLY - NO LUNCH ORDERS pre-ordered morning teas and over the counter snacks. I will send an update on available snacks later in the week.

Just a heads up, chicken tender supplies are short at the moment so for the next few days the kids might find chicken goujons (chicken chips) in their lunch orders as a replacement. (2 goujons for 1 tender). We have some tenders available as well, but may run a bit short. Apologies
