In HSIE today, Mrs Costas and 2D explored the significance of Uluru as a World Heritage site. Students learned about the Aṉangu people, the Traditional Owners of Uluru, and how they care for the land through their deep cultural knowledge, respect for Country, and sustainable land management practices. Students then used oil pastels to create vibrant artworks of Uluru, carefully representing its unique colours and landscape features. The class demonstrated creativity and an appreciation of the cultural and environmental importance of this iconic Australian landmark.
