Virtual Cake Stall
Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit community organisation that has provided quality meals for people in Proserpine and surrounding areas for over fifty years. Although a small price is charged for the meals, this organisation relies on government funding and fundraising, as well as the generosity of volunteers, to operate effectively. With much needed renovations of our cold room just around the corner, we need some extra funding to make the budget stretch!
We are hosting a virtual cake stall. What’s that, you may ask? This is a concept where there is no baking in a hot kitchen or spending endless hours running a cake stall. Instead, we kindly ask that you instead donate the money you may have spent on baking or buying baked goods via the following payment link or QR code, or you can simply pop some money in an envelope and drop it into the MOW office at 7A Marathon Street, Proserpine. The Virtual Cake Stall begins on Friday 27th February and ends on Friday 13th March at 7am.
