See a car that doesn’t look right? 👀

You can now use Victoria Police’s new stolen vehicle check tool to see if a suspicious vehicle has been reported stolen.

Enter the registration, make or model.

If it’s listed as stolen, you can report its location to us through the Police Assistance Line or Crime Stoppers.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 20-year-old Georgia DARE.

DARE is wanted on 8 x warrants for burglary, drug, and theft offences.
She is described as 170cm tall, pale complexion, medium build and green eyes, dark hair and is known to frequent the Melbourne C*D, Brimbank, Frankston, Williamstown, Keilor, and Burwood areas.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au

Darebin Police Station Counter Service Update

Changes have been made to public counter access at some police stations across Darebin, helping keep more police members out on the road responding to calls and supporting our community.

While some station counters are no longer open for walk-in attendance, police patrols and emergency response services continue to operate 24/7.

Reservoir Police Station

Preston Police Station

Great to connect with the community at today's Coffee with a Cop event at Northland Shopping Centre. Inspector Chapman and Senior Sergeant Price were joined by Preston uniform members and the PPU, alongside representatives from Neighbourhood Watch and Rotary.

It was fantastic catching up with friends, community partners and members of the public who stopped by to say hello and have a chat.

On this day, one year ago, two of our colleagues were tragically killed in the line of duty.

Today, and every day, we remember Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson and Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart and the tragedy that occurred in Porepunkah on 26 August 2025.

We thank everyone for their support and solidarity on this difficult day.

We will remember them.
