2027 Glenelg Shire Council kindergarten enrolments are now open & close this Sunday 14 June.



To access the online enrolments, click the link to our website below and follow the instructions on how to enrol.

Kindergarten programs are subject to change pending enrolment numbers.



Allocations will occur after the closure of the enrolment period and families will be sent letters of offer, which we anticipate will occur by the end of August 2026.

2027 Glenelg Shire Council kindergarten services will operate 3-Year-Old Kinder & Pre Prep (formally known as 4-Year-Old Kinder);



· Dartmoor Children’s Centre – Tuesday – Thursday

· Heywood Kindergarten – Monday – Thursday

· Jaycee Kindergarten – Monday – Friday

· Kalbarri Kindergarten – Monday – Friday

· Karreeta Peeneeyt Mara Portland Child and Family Complex Kindergarten – Monday – Friday

· Kathleen Millikan Centre – Monday – Friday



Please note: when applying for programs in XAP, new families will be prompted to select programs with listed days and times. These details are indicative only and subject to change, please disregard them when making your selection

· Ensure you have checked your child’s XAP Enrolment form

NEW FAMILIES & SIBLINGS OF EXISTING CHILDREN

· Complete XAP waiting list application (will add link) – Xap - An all-in-one childcare Management Platform



New families must complete both sections as per the information above for their enrolment to be completed and then to be allocated.

Koorie kids are also eligible for more hours of
