Port Noarlunga Licensed Post Office and SA Lotteries

This week will be our last in the Port Noarlunga post office and lotteries as it is time to move on and allow the next owners to service the wonderful people of the Port Noarlunga community.

It has been an amazing 12 1/2 years where we have seen many changes in the postal system and we made a few of our own.

After really struggling for the first five years we bit the bullet and applied to add the lotteries to our business and at the same time had an office refit which made a huge difference to our business.

Along the way we added approx 72 new PO Boxes to further supplement the business and updated our already modern lotto image to the state of the art Digipos system further improving the look of the shop.

We survived the end of the GFC and of course the recent pandemic and it is now time to take a holiday.

Colleen and I would like the sincerely thank our valued loyal friendly best ever customers for their patronage over the journey.

All the best you guys hope things turn around for you real soon.

Businesses in the party and events industry are doing it particularly tough at the moment.

With restrictions on at home gatherings many have seen their bookings dry up.

Today I spoke to Keith from Down South Party Hire which is one of the businesses that have been hit by the latest restrictions.

They are finding it hard to continue operating with all the restrictions in place and the governments support currently available for businesses just isn’t cutting it.

I will continue advocating for businesses like Keith’s to receive more support.

It’s so important we all do what we can to support local businesses at the moment. Down South Party Hire are still open and able to help with a range of services - including balloon deliveries.
