BOOTLEG CHOIR IS COMING🎃

👻This Halloween we're getting spooky with the BOOTLEG CHOIR -Saturday 31 October 🎃

BOOTLEG CHOIR is Adelaide's favourite pop-up pub choir - a fun, social singing event where everyone is welcome, regardless of your singing experience. 👻

Take a venue full of strangers, add a little bit of alcohol and a classic anthem, and you've got an event where YOU are the star! Join cabaret songbird and hostess of harmonies Deborah Brennan for one night of pure vocal fun as she transforms the room into a three-part choir for one epic rendition of a pub classic. 👻

If you've ever been caught singing in the car, busting out the backing vocals in the shower, or belting out The Horses with a pint in your hand, then grab your mates, grab a drink, learn a song and sing it together with a room full of people.
No Tricks, no scary solos-just one frighteningly good sing. 🎤
Halloween fancy dress is encouraged. 🎃

STORYBOOK WALK - PUBLIC ART
Expressions of interest are open.

The City of Onkaparinga is on the hunt for a creative spark to build a brand-new sculpture for the Storybook Walk at Thalassa Park, Aberfoyle Park.

The 2027 sculpture will be inspired by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton’s hugely popular Treehouse series. Across 17 books (and counting!), the story follows an ever-growing treehouse crammed with absurd, hilarious and totally impossible features.

Got big ideas and a sense of fun? Send us your expression of interest by 6 November 2026.

This project and exhibition opened during Dementia Awareness Week and provided an inclusive platform for people living with dementia to design, co-create or collaborate on, and present their own hand-made glass art works authentically.
The act of making glass fostered dignity-of-risk for often underrepresented or socially excluded individuals, due to their cognitive, psychosocial or physical limitations. This exhibition offered the opportunity for people who live with dementia in our communities the chance to articulate their role as active citizens while demonstrating how meaningful engagement is essential to social and cultural wellbeing.

SURF 2026
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE OPEN.
This summer tradition is a highlight of the southern arts calendar. Open to artists nationwide, Surf 2026 invites work that explores the essence of surf life: the camaraderie of dawn sessions, the evolution of surf craft, and the rituals, legends and lived experiences that continue to inspire.
Surf 2026 celebrates the heart of our region’s surf culture, the stories, traditions and community that has shaped generations of waveriders. From early surf pioneers to today’s surf clubs, board-shapers, and beachside gatherings, the exhibition honours the people and moments that define our surfing identity. Surf 2026 will be on from 4 December - 25 January 2027.
