A must for all country music fans is a visit to the old mountain village of Bellbrook, about an hour’s scenic drive up river from Kempsey. Arguably the birthplace of Australian country music, Bellbrook is the childhood home of country music legends Slim Dusty and his mate Shorty Ranger. You can still visit and enjoy the old world charm of Slim’s original homestead nearby
The surrounding district is home to the Ngambaa Nature Reserve and Limeburners Creek National Park. You can get into the great outdoors with great walks, rivers, camping grounds. Make sure you put Bellbrook on your must do list on your next holiday to the Macleay Valley Coast. http://ow.ly/TmQyw
