So many memories made, and so many more to come! 💛
Today, our students are enjoying one last play on the playground as we get ready for an exciting new chapter — the beginning of work for our brand-new playground! 🛝✨
A huge thank you to Variety SA for supporting us through their grant and helping make this exciting project possible. We’re also incredibly grateful to some of our amazing school builder Dads, who will roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the demolition to help get things underway! 🔨👏

Watch this space… exciting things are coming! 🚧🎉

⚓️ A spectacular naval tradition is coming to Port Lincoln!

HMAS Eyre will visit Port Lincoln from 22 to 25 October, with a Freedom of Entry Parade on Saturday, 24 October 2026.

This historic ceremony is a rare opportunity to see HMAS Eyre's Ship's Company march along Tasman Terrace in ceremonial uniform, accompanied by the Royal Australian Navy Band.

Bring your family, line the street and join the community in welcoming HMAS Eyre to Port Lincoln.

After the parade, community members are invited to head to the Port Lincoln RSL for a sausage sizzle and the opportunity to meet members of HMAS Eyre's Ship's Company.

🚀 Be Curious Like an Astronaut! 🌏✨
Last week, our Year 6 students had an incredible opportunity to join Katherine Bennell-Pegg for a video call as part of her Be Curious Like an Astronaut session. Katherine is Australia’s first qualified astronaut under the Australian flag and was named the 2026 Australian of the Year!
Katherine shared her inspiring journey, from beginning her career as a space engineer and then completing astronaut training.
Throughout the session, students were encouraged to ask questions, think outside the box and embrace the power of curiosity. Katherine reminded us that curiosity is our biggest power — it sparks new ideas, keeps learning alive and helps us discover things we never knew before.
It was wonderful to see our students engaging with big ideas, asking thoughtful questions and imagining the possibilities of the future.
A big thank you to Katherine for sharing her knowledge and reminding our students that asking questions, staying curious and never giving up on learning can take us to extraordinary places!
