Macedonian Welfare Association of NSW MWA of NSW (est 1984) is a community organisation, that supports the Macedonian and the multicultural community of Illawarra and wider.

Services include: aged care, family & carer support, community development, transport, interpreting, translating etc The Association is made up of members, volunteers and community workers who work together to address the diverse needs of the Macedonian Community in the Illawarra and wider, stemming from language difficulties, unemployment, ageing and lack of specific services. Association of NSW conducts it's function through co-operation and liaison with mainstream organisations, Australian and Macedonian governments and non-government departments, agencies and companies for the benefit of the Macedonian community in the Illawarra and wider. -Assistance with personal and family difficulties
-Information, Options, Advice and Referral
-Community Development
-Community Support
-Community Liaison
-Settlement Assistance
-Mediation
-Translation of Letters and Documents
-Interpreting
-Quasi-consular services for legal documents relating to Republic of Macedonia such as: Power of Attorney, Statutory Declaration, Life Certificates
-Centre Based Aged Social Support and Respite Care groups
-Carers Support Groups
-Women's Group
-Dementia Information and referral service
-Media Group
-Community and Individual Transport
-Brokerage aged and home support services
-Community facilities management - Balgownie Village Community Centre and Port Kembla Senior Citizens Centre
