Residents, business owners, community representatives and stakeholders can nominate now to join two Community Reference Groups for gas plants in the shire.

• Beach Energy Otway Gas Plant Community Reference Group
• Lochard Energy Iona Gas Plant Community Liaison Group

Community Reference Groups provide a forum for open communication between gas plant operators, Council, and the community.

The groups help share information, discuss community concerns, and support transparency around plant operations, safety, environmental performance, and compliance.

Interested people can submit an expression of interest by 5 pm, Friday 27 March.

Council is developing a Parking Strategy to ensure the best use of existing parking infrastructure in the Port Campbell township.

We want to hear your experiences and feedback to ensure that the parking strategy provides for the needs and amenity of residents and businesses, while also improving the visitor experience.

Next week, specialists will begin installing a vibrant new mosaic mural on the Port Campbell Foreshore, celebrating the rich history and stories of our town.

Created by renowned Keerray Woorroong artist Dr Vicki Couzens, the mosaic is the result of a collaborative effort with the local community and features imagery inspired by Port Campbell’s cultural heritage.

Installation will take place throughout the week, with site preparation and a marquee in place during the works.

We can’t wait to see this stunning piece of art come to life on the foreshore!
