What a loud, fun and adventurous day we have had celebrating Superhero Day! This week, Miss Chelsey has been sharing Elleanna’s story of her broken heart. Elleanna has had 2 surgeries so far, one at 8 days old and the other at 3 years - and we all agreed today that Elle and her doctors are the most special and bravest superheroes of all!
Thank you to those who have donated towards the HeartKids Foundation ❤️‍🩹 you are making a very special difference in the lives of other’s.
We can’t wait to do it all again on Thursday!

We have a variety of activities ready to develop our knowledge of different cultures, and how culture can expand our understanding by offering new perspectives, values, and ways of thinking. Culture helps us build empathy, appreciate diversity, and see the world beyond our own experiences.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of one of our extended kindy family.

On Tuesday 3rd February, Charlotte — the sibling of Daniel, who attended kindy with us last year — passed away from anaphylactic shock. She was just 9 years old 💔

Some of our educators were very privileged to have taught Charlotte at another kindergarten and are currently processing this profound loss. As you know, at EGCC we truly love our families as our own, and this has come as a huge shock to our entire team. We ask for kindness and understandingat this time ❤️

To the Bryant family, we send all of our love and heartfelt thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Please know that our community is here to support you in any way you may need.

Families, please hug your little ones a little tighter — life is precious, and time is never guaranteed. Please keep Daniel and the Bryant family in your thoughts.

Rest in peace, beautiful Charlotte.

Tomorrow is the first week of preschool for 2026!

We are excited to meet our new preschool children welcome back our continuing children!

Blue and purple group will look forward to seeing you tomorrow (Tuesday) from 8.30am till 3.00pm.

Pink and Green group we will see you on Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30am til 3.00pm.

It is our half day Friday this week so children from all groups will be able to attend this Friday from 8.30 till 12.30pm.

A smiling educator will open the kindy gate at 8.30am when it is time for the kindy day to begin 😊

It’s going to be super hot this week so please make sure your child has a drink bottle filled with water and a spare change of clothes as we will be doing lots of water play before the heat causes us to be stuck inside. 🥵

To all of our 2025 preschool children who are off to their first day of school tomorrow, we hope you have the best day ever and know you will have lots of fun!

To all of our families who are feeling quite anxious about their children starting or returning to preschool or school tomorrow, big deep breaths you’ve got this! ❤️

To our preschool families who can’t wait to send their children back to kindy this week we’re ready to catch them as you throw them in the gate 😂

A huge thank you to all of our families who braved the heat (again) to attend our end of year celebration yesterday. We hope you all had a fabulous afternoon.

A big thank you to Miss Rachel’s family for running the bbq and to all of the educators who stayed back in their own time to be a part of it.

We are so blessed to have such an amazing Elizabeth Grove Community! ❤️

The raffle was drawn yesterday and those people who won prizes that were not at the celebration will be contacted next week. 😊
