Work Mode to Dad Mode
Check you emails for a link to register.
A practical workshop for dads who want to leave the stress of work behind and be more present at home.
You finish work, pick up the kids, walk through the front door… and somehow your brain is still at work.
You’re thinking about tomorrow’s meeting, the email you forgot to send, the jobs waiting for you, or everything that still needs to happen before bedtime.
Then your child asks you a perfectly reasonable question and your response is a little more… enthusiastic than the situation probably deserved.
Sound familiar?
This free 90-minute workshop is for dads who want to better understand why the demands of work and everyday life can make it difficult to switch off, recover and show up the way they want to at home.
It’s not your typical parenting workshop. We won’t be teaching you how to stop tantrums or magically make your children listen. (If anyone has cracked that one, please let us know.)Instead, we’ll focus on the dad navigating those moments.
Together, we’ll explore how stress and pressure affect your energy, patience, attention and behaviour, why simply finishing work doesn’t always mean your body and mind have switched off, and what you can do to create a more effective transition into family life.
You’ll learn practical tools and simple frameworks to help you:
Mentally leave work at work, rather than carrying the whole day through the front door.
Feel calmer and more capable when the evening gets busy.
Recover more effectively from the demands of work and family life.
Have more energy and attention available for your children and partner.
Respond more intentionally when things don’t go to plan.
Build small, sustainable habits that make everyday family life feel less like another shift.
We’ll also experience a few practical physiological techniques during the workshop, so you can feel the difference rather than simply hear about it.
You’ll leave with a selection of tools you can start using that afternoon, including a simple Work Mode to Dad Mode transition you can adapt to your own routine.
Because the goal isn’t to become a perfect dad.
It’s to have more of yourself available for the people you’re doing all this for.
