🌿🦘 **The Nature Walk Crew had an adventure!** 🐨

A little rain wasn’t going to stop us! We enjoyed a slightly soggy walk to the mill, followed by a picnic, a play and plenty of exploring along the way.

And wow… **the Mill Walk really delivered!** 🙌

🐨 A koala
🦘 A kangaroo
🦤 Pelicans
🦆 Ducks and other waterfowl
🦎 Water dragons

So much wildlife to spot and enjoy! We even managed to get a photo of us with **Milly** 📸❤️

And by the end of our adventure, we’d clocked up an impressive **11,016 steps!** 👟👏

Today the winners of the koala drawing competition were announced at assembly. Thanks to Pine Rivers Koala Care for judging the competition and presenting so many awards. The students were also taught about how we should be caring for koalas in our school grounds.

Congratulations to the latest recipient of the Principal's award.
Arnhem in Prep was given the award for his exceptional behaviour, being a role model and putting in 100% effort at all times.

I will continue to visit classrooms and check on student work and reward effort and achievement where I can.

Thank you again to Bunnings Brendale for visiting our Spring has Sprung themed Playtime yesterday.🪴
We had an amazing turn out, the children really enjoyed planting their own flower pots, mashed potato painting, making scarecrows for their pots, cherry blossom stamping, bee and pond themed sensory trays and insect headbands.
