“In mourning, we celebrate their courage.”

VMRWA sends our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the tragic loss of our fellow marine rescue volunteers at Ballina.

Marine Rescue crews across our great state are always at the ready to selflessly aid and assist those in their time of need and echoed in the words of NSW Commissioner Todd Andrews...

"the devastating loss is a solemn reminder of the risks faced by volunteers who serve their communities"

If you or anyone in your team needs assistance please reach out to your Commanders or DFES for support.
