For those wondering what happened today, we have some unfortunate news.

The West End Elite as of now is no more, but hopefully only temporarily.

Due to heavy-handed security and over-reacting police, we have decided as a group to stand down from active support on our home and away travels.

The reason for this, at the ticket gates before the game today we were stopped by police and asked to leave. After a lot of disputing and fighting, we decided to just call it quits. We are sick of being looked at as common criminals, when in reality, we are football supporters, the best fan base in the league! Without us, the A-league is nothing.

The WEE members will stand down as of now and the western grandstand will become inactive again.

We thank you all for the memories over the past 1 and a half months, it has been an amazing ride, one which WEE will never forget.

WEE are in Perth! Not quite as many people have made the trip over as last time, over 2,000 WEE members have already been banned including our capo for starting fights and ripping flares and showing too much passion, but there will be good numbers regardless. We haven't finished what we started in Perth, so expect the unexpected Glory fans, YOU are in our sights!

Also, in some good news for the West End Elite. The nib Stadium management has kindly given us what we wanted - the 'no flares' policy has been scrapped for Sunday's game!

After an incredibly long month since our last home game (f**k you FFA), the West End Elite can finally look forward to doing what they do best and that's create an atmosphere in the western grandstand this Friday night against the Brisbane Roar!

Bring your flares, firecrackers, smokies and banners, this one's gonna be a cracker!

Unfortunately, our top boy ultra has been banned from A-league games for 5 years. We wish him well in his fight against the FFA.

Please tag someone who YOU think would do a fantastic job in being OUR new capo for the remainder of the 2013/14 season and beyond!

NEW GROUP within the West End Elite.

They are known as the 'West End Casuals', and quite plain and simply, they don't take sh*t from no one.

Rumour has it, they are going to be in Melbourne on Saturday night, so to all of our Victory 'friends' who read this post, beware.

West End Elite will not be going to Melbourne this Saturday. We apologise for any inconvenience caused from the previous status last Saturday night as the buses ran out of petrol and all WEE members flew back to Adelaide earlier today.

However, the Red & Blue Bloc will be present. Stand shoulder to shoulder with them at the Telstra Dome this Saturday night as they are representing the fallen soldiers who missed the big dance due to transportation issues.

COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS!
