Congratulations to Cohort 2 of our Newly Appointed Manager Corporate Services program participants, who completed the 4-day program this week.

With strong regional representation, the cohort built valuable professional connections, strengthened their networks and left feeling more confident and supported in their leadership journey.

New to the MCS role and looking for the same opportunity? One final cohort is scheduled for Term 4. If you’re within your first 3 years of appointment, or on a contract of more than 6 months, here’s your chance to sign up.

- Hearing from an experienced panel of MCSs during the Day 3 afternoon session

During a one-day workshop at the Institute on Tuesday 17 November you’ll gain deeper insight into both the leadership skills needed for the position, and your own fit for the role.

Our next generation of middle leaders have been building their leadership skills at the Institute over the past few days. The latest cohort of Aspirant Managers Corporate Services now have a stronger understanding of their roles in governance, people leadership and decision-making.

These interactive workshops encourage collaboration, reflection and peer learning, helping participants build the confidence and capability needed to step into management roles.

The Institute was abuzz as we welcomed back our amazing - and now, well-connected - Managers Corporate Services, for the fifth day of the new Leading High Performing Teams program.

Rachel Monamy from Leading Teams facilitated another day of fun and laughter. The learning explores the different contexts of leadership, and how participants can confidently gain and strengthen their leadership capabilities. Congratulations to all our leaders on their progress through this engaging and challenging course.

In primary schools, the way teams work together shapes the consistency and quality of student learning across every classroom.

The Leading School Improvement for Primary Team Leaders Program supports leaders to strengthen collaboration, build shared practice and establish the conditions for sustained improvement. Across three full-day workshops, participants engage with current evidence and explore how effective team leadership drives greater coherence in teaching and learning.

The program is designed for primary team leaders, including year-level and phase of learning leaders, who are focused on strengthening collective practice and improving outcomes for students.

The next cohort will take place at the Leadership Institute in Leederville on 31 July, 25 August and 21 September. Places are limited.

What becomes possible for student learning when teams are deeply aligned in their practice?

The Leading School Improvement for Secondary Team Leaders Program is designed to support secondary leaders to strengthen their team culture and lift performance in a sustained, practical way. Across three full-day workshops, participants engage with current evidence and explore how effective leadership practice can translate directly into improved teaching and learning in their own contexts.

The program is suited to heads of learning areas and student services, curriculum leaders, teaching and learning coordinators, and lead teachers who are seeking to build alignment and consistency across their teams.

The next cohort will take place on 27 July, 26 August and 17 September at the Leadership Institute in Leederville. Places are limited.
