🔥 Calling all Quinns Rocks and surrounds locals, past and present! 🔥
As the Quinns Rocks Bush Fire Brigade approaches our 50th bush fire season, we are searching for history to fill the walls of our station as well as wanting to put together a special commemorative book to capture and celebrate five decades of history, community, and service.
From our humble beginnings as a hand full of dedicated locals with a fire trailer, to the fully functioning brigade, fleet and purpose built station we are today.
We need your help to fill the gaps and bring our history to life!
If you, your family, or old neighbors have any of the following hidden away, however big or small - we would love to see them!
Photos: Station events, old appliances/trucks, bushfires, community events, or team pictures over the decades.
Stories & Memories: Personal anecdotes, memorable call-outs, humorous moments, or memories of early brigade members.
Merch & Memorabilia: Old uniforms/PPE, patches, badges, event programs, newspaper clippings, or awards.
Whether it's a digital file or a dusty photo tucked inside a physical album, every piece helps us tell the full story of our brigade and the community that supported us along the way.
