Building Futures with UWA

Today, we welcomed James from The University of Western Australia (UWA) to Churchlands Senior High School to support our Year 11 students who have signed up for the UWA Pathway Program.

James worked with our students to help them register for their chosen courses as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey.
Through the program, students can explore one of three exciting pathways: Catalyst, Headway or Thrive. Students attend UWA one day a week, gaining valuable university experience while continuing their Year 11 and 12 studies at Churchlands.

These programs provide enabling pathways offering direct entry into eligible UWA courses with an ATAR of 70, opening up exciting opportunities for students to pursue their interests and work towards their future goals.

We love seeing our students explore different pathways to university and take proactive steps towards their future!

A big thank you to James and UWA for supporting our students and helping them discover the possibilities ahead.

Last week marked the end of our Year 12s formal high school education.

The week involved many activities, including anything but a bag day, costume day and the farewell BBQ brekky and assembly. It was a vibrant display of originality, fictional characters, and a chance to make lasting memories and have fun with friends before the exams begin.
