The MyLeave - Construction Long Service WA WA team recently visited ElectricalGroupTraining to present to 28 first-year apprentices about MyLeave - Construction Long Service WA and the benefits of portable long service leave.
It was a great opportunity to explain how portable long service leave supports apprentices from the start of their career and it will follow them when they move between employers or projects provided they stay in an eligible role.

Thank you to ElectricalGroupTraining and all the apprentices for having us. We enjoyed answering your questions and helping you understand your long service leave entitlements. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Last month, the MyLeave - Construction Long Service WA team was at the Skillswest Perth SkillsWest Careers & Employment Expo held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre! 🎉

It was great connecting with students exploring pathways into trade apprenticeships, as well as workers and employers who were interested in how portable long service leave with MyLeave - Construction Long Service WA works in WA’s construction industry.

As a reminder, if you’re an employer in the construction industry, make sure your obligations under MyLeave - Construction Long Service WA are up to date.

📌 Mark the date on your calendar Your MyLeave - Construction Long Service WA Returns are due this Friday 31 July!

Log into your Employer portal with your User ID and submit your Quarter 2 Return via our website.

📒 Remember: no contribution is payable for apprentices, but days worked must still be completed on the Return. Apprentices are still eligible!

✅ Avoid late penalties — submit on time!
