What a fantastic day for Team Willandra at the Interschool Athletics Carnival on Tuesday! 💙

We were incredibly proud of the sportsmanship, encouragement and determination shown by our students, with plenty of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place ribbons coming home! 👏

🌟 Willandra’s Got Talent! 🌟

Congratulations to our eight talented competitors who were selected through auditions and bravely took to the stage today. You were amazing!

A big thank you to our wonderful choir for their musical support and to Miss Shenfield who volunteered her time to make the event such a success. An awesome job by everyone involved, including our judges, Mrs Porter and Mrs Kyle - whose job was very difficult!👏🎶

This week, we celebrate and thank our wonderful Education Assistants for the important role they play at Willandra.

Every day, our EAs support learning, encourage students, solve problems and step in wherever they are needed - often with plenty of patience, flexibility and good humour!

A student from Kaarda 21 led the way at recess by creating an amazing fortress in our Nature Play area! 🏰

It was fantastic to see the creativity, teamwork and cooperation amongst our Year 6 students as they worked together to bring their ideas to life.

A huge congratulations to our special award winners 🌟 and to our littlest hosts from Bindi Bindi 1 and 2, who did a fabulous job leading the birthday assembly!

A salon experience like no other!

Our Pre-Primary hairdressers treated our Principal, Mrs Bubb to a new hairstyle this afternoon - with face cream included! What a treat!

Play is the important work of our young children, building creativity, communication and confidence. ✂️
