While our team takes time to celebrate, relax and be with family, we've got you covered if you should find yourself in need of emergency assistance. We want to rush with you, excitedly toward 2026, but we'd prefer it weren't while rushing you to hospital, so play safe, stay hydrated, stay cool (like us 😎) and have FUN.

Following a truly empowering and valuable training collaboration on Saturday, we have been a tad busy.
Today, we welcomed the RFDS helicopter to town, providing top-notch medical support to a community member in need.
Well done to our local SJWA volunteers, high-five 🙌🏻 to the RFDS and…..
well done to YOU, community. Many of you earned GOLD stars today, promptly and safely moving aside on the road to allow the 'emergency mode' ambulance to get to the ED in a timely but safely manner.

🚨🔥 Heads up, PEMBERTON: 🚨 🚒 🚑💨

Tomorrow morning, Saturday 8/11/25, our incredible volunteer ambulance officers, firefighters and cadets are putting their skills to the test with a simulated crash exercise!

Don’t be alarmed if you see emergency vehicles zooming around or hear those sirens. They’re just practicing their life-saving techniques, dedicated to making sure they’re always prepared!

So, if you spot the action, just carry on with your day. And remember, if you ever find yourself in a real emergency, call 000 – help is just a heartbeat away!

It's Thank a First Responder Day 💚❤️🩵

And while it's just one day, it's a reminder of the gratitude and support we have for our first responders every day. To our first responders here at St John WA, our First Responder network, and to the teams at Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA and Western Australia Police Force - thank you for being there for our communities and keeping us safe and well.

It certainly was a big week last week!
A heart felt thank you to Dr Maria Hvalkof O'Shea for drawing our wood raffle. Thank you also to everyone who supported us by buying tickets.
Congratulations Georgie Nock, winner of the wood raffle. Thank you Georgie for donating your wood to the town. There are quite a few happy recipients.
The week ended with a wreath laying at the ANZAC service.
