This week, Kindergarten have been busy learning about volume through hands on activities.

Students explored and compared containers to develop their understanding of empty, half full and full, using practical experiences to build their mathematical vocabulary and skills.

🎉 FROM SLSO TO TEACHER! 🎉

Yesterday, Miss Emma Watkins was one of our wonderful SLSOs… today, she stepped into the classroom as a teacher!

A huge congratulations to Miss Watkins, who is now officially approved to teach with the NSW Department of Education!

Miss Watkins has been part of the NSW DoE Grow Your Own program, supporting her journey from SLSO to qualified teacher while continuing to work and learn within our school community.

We are so proud to celebrate this exciting milestones with Miss Watkins and can’t wait to see her continue to grow and thrive in her new role as a teacher.

We have had a busy morning at the Mint and the AIS. We are now on our way home- plus a few stops for lunch etc. we are scheduled to get home earlier than first expected- so perhaps around 4:45pm. We will keep u posted on FB with ETA updates.

Well I shall start by saying we, as teachers had a relatively easy night last night- so thank you kids! We had an early morning start with bacon and eggs and then off to Old and New Parliament House. We’ve had burgers for lunch and now heading to Questacon.

This week we are celebrating the incredible School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) who help make PMPS such a wonderful place to learn, work and belong!

Our SASS staff play such an important role in our school each and every day. From supporting our students in the classroom and playground, to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, we are lucky to have such a dedicated team.

What a great day so far! A fabulous lunch stop at Berrima and then onto the Australian War Memorial which was extremely moving. We got to see Mrs Brathwaites great grandfathers name on the wall of honour and the last post service. We have just left Mt Ainslie and currently en route to our motel.
