Water Safety NT Water activities are a great part of the Territory lifestyle. To keep people safe in and around water, all Territorians need to be water safety wise.

Water Safety initiatives of the Northern Territory Government include:

Water Safety Week held in mid September and the Use your Brain, don't play in Pipes and Drains Campaign which runs from Nov - Feb each year. Full details of events relating to these campaigns will be posted on this page for community information.

🚢 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS JUST GOT BETTER! 🎣

AFANT and SeaLink Northern Territory have partnered for the June-July school holidays and are giving away 20 FREE return ferry tickets every day for NT kids aged 18 years and under!!

Travel between Cullen Bay and Mandorah and enjoy a day of fishing, exploring or simply getting outdoors these school holidays.

🎟️ Tickets must be reserved through the AFANT website
👧 Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Kids under 5 normally travel for free with an adult and don't require a ticket
📱 Free tickets issued must be shown when boarding
⚠️ This is free ferry travel only and is not a planned, organised or supervised event
📅 Free ferry rides for fishing runs from Saturday 20th June to Sunday 12 July
🎣Fishing rods and fishing equipment; all hooks must be removed, and fish or bait must be packed in a leak-proof bag before boarding
✅ Normal SeaLink terms and conditions apply

Free places are limited to 20 tickets per day, so book early!
