Well, our first Spring market for Rotary was a huge success. The weather turned on a treat, although the Pambula RFS team who where there, would be happier if it rained a little(overnight).
After all the rubbish bins are emptied, stall holders packed up and the kiosk cleaned, the next job is to count all the coins and notes the wonderful people place in the collection bins when they enter.
This lot is from the front well and totalled over $700 and this along with all donations to Rotary, they go to worthy causes.
For example the terrible floods in Nepal-China, the Pambula Rotary club through monies like donated today, purchased a Shelterbox to help those displaced by the disaster.
So remember every coin helps someone else when you drop a coin(or note) in the money well.
