QCWA Palmwoods is located at 11 Main St, Palmwoods, on the Sunshine Coast. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday each month.

Daytime meetings are on even months at 9 am for a 9:30 am start. On odd months we meet at 6 pm for supper for a 6:30 pm start QCWA Hall is located at 11 Main Street, Palmwoods Queensland 4560
The QCWA Palmwoods was established in 1934. On the 27th of November 1937, and at a cost of 156 pounds, the hall was officially opened by Frank Nicklin M.L.A. Today meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month. For membership enquiries, or hall rental, please email: [email protected]

🎨🧶 What a Wonderful Come & Learn Saturday! 🧶🎨

What a busy and creative morning we had at QCWA Palmwoods this Saturday!

Our Badge Making Workshop was buzzing with creativity, with so many fun and colourful badges being designed and made. It was especially wonderful to see so many children getting together, creating, learning and enjoying themselves. ⭐

At the same time, our Recycled Crochet Rug Workshop reached its final session, with our participants making some great progress on their rugs. We can't wait to see the finished creations! 🧶♻️

Of course, no Come & Learn Saturday would be complete without a delicious morning tea, and a big thank you to Helene and Gwen for keeping everyone well fed during such a busy morning. ☕🍰

A very special thank you also goes to Susie and Claire for organising and facilitating our workshops. Your time, creativity and enthusiasm helped make the morning such a success.

It was fantastic to see the hall so busy with people learning new skills, sharing ideas, catching up with friends and, most importantly, enjoying being part of our community. 💛

We're doing it again! 🎉

Following the wonderful response to our previous bake sales, we're excited to announce that our next QCWA Palmwoods Bunnings Bake Sale is coming up!

⏰ From 9:30am
📍 Bunnings Maroochydore

Come along and pick up some delicious homemade goodies while supporting QCWA Palmwoods and the community activities we provide throughout the year.

We'll have:
🍰 Homemade baking
🍪 Biscuits, slices and treats
🍓 Jams and preserves
🎁 Handmade goodies and craft items

And, as always, we can't do it without our wonderful community of bakers, supporters and volunteers!

🧶 Recycled Crochet Rug Workshop – Week 2

What a lovely morning we had yesterday as our Recycled Crochet Rug Workshop Series continued!

Our participants are making great progress with their rugs, and it's wonderful to see the different colours and recycled fabrics starting to come together to create something unique. ♻️🧶

There has been plenty of crocheting, learning, sharing tips and helping each other along the way — exactly what our Come & Learn activities are all about!

We can't wait to see how everyone's rugs develop during our final workshop on Saturday 5 September, which will be held as part of our next Come & Learn Saturday.

Looking for a fun, creative Saturday morning activity?

Join us at QCWA Palmwoods for a Badge Making Workshop as part of our Come & Learn Saturday.

Children will have the opportunity to design and make up to 10 personalised badges to take home!
