Will you be entering the HoloVerse tomorrow as part of the lead up to Palmerston Youth Festival? 🐙⚡

The portal opens from 11am to 2pm at City of Palmerston Library's Community Room, where cosplayers will be transformed into holographic-style digital displays using AI-generated technology.

Got a cosplay fit ready? We want to see it. Got a friend? Bring them too.

Our desexing vouchers are going fast 🐾

We still have a few $50 vouchers left for cats and dogs!

If your furry friend is still on the to do list, now is the time to pop into Civic Plaza and grab a voucher from our friendly Customer Service team while they are still available.

Vouchers can be used at University Avenue Vet Hospital or The Ark Animal Hospital

More play, more movement, more reasons to get outdoors in Palmerston! 🌳

We're continuing to invest in our parks and playgrounds, with upgrades now complete at President Park in Driver and Joan Fejo Park in Rosebery.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
🛝 A new all-abilities swing
☀️ A shade structure over the play area
🟢 New rubber soft fall
🚶 A connecting footpath linking the swing to the existing path network

𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗷𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
🧗 A new climbing frame and new rubber soft fall in the older kids' play area
🎠 Refurbished swing set with new pommel seats and a fresh repaint
💪 6 new exercise stations, including a stationary bike, cross trainer and mobility-focused fitness equipment

These improvements help create more inclusive, accessible and active spaces for our community to enjoy.

We are proud to be an official member of the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network, supporting a welcoming and understanding community.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a voluntary symbol that people can choose to wear to indicate they may need extra support, understanding or more time when accessing services or community spaces.

Sunflower lanyards are available at Civic Plaza, Palmerston Library and the Palmerston Recreation Centre.

We are officially launching our participation in the Hidden Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program and welcome the community to be a part of it.

The Sunflower recognises that not all disabilities are visible and helps create greater awareness, patience and understanding in everyday community spaces.

We’re offering a limited number of $50 desexing vouchers for Palmerston residents to help support responsible pet ownership and animal welfare in our community 🐾
