Thank You, Dan
Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dan Rough for his outstanding support over the past few weeks in his role as Senior WHS Officer.
Known affectionately by the team as "Uncle Dan", Dan has generously shared his knowledge, experience and practical guidance while supporting and mentoring our newly appointed Manager WHS, Isaac Geia.
His willingness to invest time in developing local leadership and strengthening our workplace health and safety capability has been greatly appreciated. Dan's mentorship has helped build confidence, capability and continuity within the team, contributing to a safer workplace for Council staff and the broader Palm Island community.
On behalf of Council, thank you, Dan, for your professionalism, guidance and commitment to supporting Palm Island. Your contribution has made a genuine difference, and we are grateful for the knowledge and experience you have shared with our organisation.
