A clean sweep, a statement win and a captain leading from the front - Isabelle Kelly. 🌟

Our Wonder Woman Wednesday this week celebrates her latest achievement, captaining the NSW Sky Blues to a historic State of Origin clean sweep over Queensland. 💙💙

A foundation Roosters NRLW player, Kelly also led the club to its second Premiership in 2024, earning RLPA Players’ Champion, her third Dally M Centre of the Year and a spot in the Players’ Dream Team.

From Origin success to representing the Jillaroos since 2017, she’s been a constant at the top - but it’s this latest milestone that adds another chapter to an already standout career.

Hi Coasties - planning is well and truly underway for our official Club launch day at Kariong on Saturday the 25th of October. The spots in the 10-12 social session are filling fast which is great to see. But we have plenty of available spots in the Come and Try session from 8-10 which is aimed at those people new to pickleball who want to see what it's all about. We will have the amazing Felicity Green (aided by her young lad Luke) running the Come and Try session. If any Coasties know of some folks who might want to give the Come and Try session a go, please encourage them to do so. We will have some paddles there for newbies to use. The link to Open Sports where they need to register for the Come and Try session is here. https://opensports.net/posts/official-launch-event-coasties-pickleball-club-YTEC9mCvj . Well done to team from Wyong Golf Club, Golf NSW and the School Sport unit for their efforts in making Golf more inclusive for students across the Central Coast. At the recent inclusive multisport days held at Niagara Park Stadium, using the Office of Sport’s Paragolfer chairs, local students with a disability were able to experience golf in a similar way to their peers.

Paragolfer chairs are an all-terrain, motorised wheelchair that enables people with mobility and stability issues to assume an upright position, enabling a more conventional golf swing. Well done everyone for making this happen!

Want to access a Paragolfer chair? Contact the pro-shop at either Wyong, Everglades, Shelly Beach or Gosford golf clubs and trial the Paragolfer for free under the supervision of trained professionals.
