🏀🥈 Congratulations to Hunter in Year 6 & the South Coast Basketball Team

Hunter and his South Coast Basketball Teammates brought home the silver medal after a fantastic tournament at the weekend. Hunter's determination and hard work over the past 12 months have been incredible to watch, and making the South Coast team was a major goal he set for himself, achieved and enjoyed being a part of.

In the final, Hunter battled through early foul trouble and stepped up when it mattered most, scoring 9 points in the final quarter. Hunter's team came second, going down 73-96.

Congratulations, Hunter! We are extremely proud of your efforts, sportsmanship and teamwork. What an amazing experience and achievement!

🌟 Solid Pathways University Experience Day 🌟

Some students in Year 4, 5 and 6 recently enjoyed an exciting day at Griffith University Gold Coast as part of the Solid Pathways program.

Students participated in a range of hands-on workshops including robotics, chemistry, bridge building and engineering, exploring new skills and future pathways while having plenty of fun along the way!

This was a fantastic experience and a great day of learning beyond the classroom for all involved.

As we celebrate Teacher Aide Appreciation Week, we would like to recognise and thank our wonderful Teacher Aides 💙 for everything they do to support our students, teachers and the community.

Our Teacher Aides make an incredible contribution each and every day. Whether it is providing individual support to students, helping in classrooms, building positive relationships, providing additional learning support or simply being there when a student needs a little extra encouragement, their work makes a real difference.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring team of Teacher Aides who consistently go above and beyond to support our students.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Steve from Loco Beans for generously providing complimentary beverages to our wonderful P&C Association and Norfolk Angels volunteers who ran yesterday's Father's Day Stall for our students.

Your kindness and support helped keep our dedicated volunteers refreshed throughout the day, and we are incredibly grateful for your contribution to our school community.
