Strong Steps, Big Impact – $7,385 Raised at Kokoda Challenge! 🏃♂️💚
Our school team represented NVSS at the Kokoda Challenge with pride and enthusiasm on Saturday. Our 22 students and 6 staff showed a lot of determination and grit to complete the 18km in less-than-ideal conditions with our school raising $7,385 for the Kokoda Youth Foundation. The parents were extremely supportive and the green hats, generously donated by Height Safety Servicing (HSS), were a great idea. These certainly helped to identify students on the course.
A special thank you to HSS and Matthew from the North Gold Coast RSL Sub Branch who supported the students in preparation and training leading into the event. We truly appreciate your encouragement of the students and our staff.
We are very proud of the NVSS team of students, and appreciative of the staff who made this activity successful and memorable for everyone. Thank you Mrs Boulding, Miss Jones, Mrs Smith, Ms White, Mrs Coleman, Ms O’Keeffe and Mrs Stringfellow.
