Very disappointed to learn about the potential fate of trees in Anson street Orange NSW.
My opinion relating to the community stand at 1pm tomorrow.

I won’t be in Orange tomorrow otherwise would have been there.
I saw what happened in post office lane and condemned that decision. No trees replaced there.
Leave the trees in place and use the money that was going to be used to take them down to cut into the gutter system making it bigger, reduce the cement levels where the short uneven section is and build the wooden platforms that sit above the uneven root system as a social space. After all a mall is meant to be there for public use and socialisation. Increase parking to another level or two in Woolworths car park.
Turn Anson street into a shared space area between Summer and Kite street. There’s been a lot of work and development supporting shared space areas.
Leave the trees alone!
They provide shade, temperature control, oxygen, mulch, accomodation for birds and animals and a pleasing environment for the human eye and mind.
Very attractive also for visitors to Orange which is highlighted when showing Orange off for tourism.
Just saying!

Ok so I’m going to share with you my way forward from Council life (that was a long time ago)
I’ve since been working on creating a Permaculture Educational centre. It started Bissys Permaculture Cafe & Catering Orange and has now progressed to Cargo NSW.
As a bit of fun can you guess the answer to the question I have asked in this post?

A day with lots of good things happening including the build of the market garden fence and yes I got in and worked with Terry for the top layer of wire.
Team work makes it so much easier to complete.
What does Terry have in this picture that was used to stabilise the wire?

There's a fabulous idea I've mentioned as a council initiative regarding green waste. See what you think and lets hope Council realize the benefit using such a positive initiative.

Now listening to http://www.2gb.com/listen-live/ I'm keen to hear the story and find out what's going on and why Orange NSW is being locked down by one of the Radio stations when Ray Hadley presents.

Ray was sent this video of a woman yelling abuse at witnesses trying to help her after a serious crash on the Bruce Highway at Elimbah WARNING: Explicit language

This is so wrong what's happening in Orange NSW on a local radio station. How about you speak up rather than keep cutting https://www.facebook.com/therayhadleymorningshow/ Ray Hadley off. I've never heard this happen before on this station. Why?

Pre polling for new Councillors starts tomorrow in Orange.
I'll be making my vote count by voting below the line.
It was something I promoted back in 2008 when I was elected to Orange City Council when there were 77 candidates standing.
Let's see a new and vibrant Council get elected!

How about this offer!
Let's get our thinking caps on and come up with some wonderful things that can revitalise Orange for families.
