After a lifetime of experience living and working on the land [in some of the most remote areas of Australia], Geoff and Ann now bring some of these experiences to the city, through their shows and demonstrations. Having been involved in an extraordinary number of different industries, Geoff has an seemingly endless amount of humorous and educational experiences to tell. Listing his career positio

ns is a significantly difficult task, but includes : auctioneer, race caller, jackeroo, shearer, horsebreaker, roadtrain driver, cropduster pilot, station manager, publican, rodeo cowboy[saddlebroncs], naval serviceman, dairy farmer, rural store operator, agronomist, fencing contractor, to name just a few. He is now widely known as the most experienced and entertaining Australiana presenter in the Sydney area, with an ever increasing following of satisfied customers, who come back to see his shows over and over. He also does a lot of announcing, for rural type events, such as shows, horse events etc [he is certainly no stranger to a microphone]

over 125 mm of rain has been a welcome relief from the heat as well as freshening up the grass for our sheep. We hope to be planting winter feed fairly soon, before the next lot of rain. All things being equal, winter should be fairly kind to us and the wooly jumpers

March and April are shaping up to be very busy, with 8 shows at Gledswood, Judging at Castle Hill [mar 29th] and Camden [april 4th] shows, combined with the wedding of the eldest of our 2 gorgeous girls and all the visitors coming to stay [both interstate and international] for that long awaited celebration. We are also in discussions with a new booking agent, which could see our "mobile" business increase rapidly- fingers crossed.

We had a new ram arrive a little while ago, named "ELMO". He is an English Leicester, from Wangaratta in Victoria. He is settling into his new position very quickly [the chickybabes love him, LOL]
Whe will post some pic's of him soon

this week has been very busy, fencing new paddocks for sheep. With lots of new lambs arriving, we need to be able to hold them in securely. A lack of good rain, means sheep may need to be handfed soon, so anyone with good spiritual connections "upstairs", do your best and see what results you can get. Also anyone who knows a good raindance, today is as good any to get started.
