The Country SA PHN (CSAPHN) is the primary health network covering the country regions of South Australia. The Australian Government announced the establishment of Primary Health Networks, in 2014, and are to be known as PHNs. The key objectives of PHNs are to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes; and improve coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time. Our six key priority areas are; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Aged Care, Digital Health (eHealth), Health Workforce, Metal Health and Population Health. The CSAPHN works to bridge the gap of health inequity and access in rural South Australia by building a collaborative and responsive country SA health care system. Code of conduct:

Lower Eyre Family Practice is one of many across country South Australia to recently receive our Welcoming Environments grant.

The grants aim to improve access to culturally inclusive primary care at general practices and health clinics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Lower Eyre Family Practice engaged Emmalene (Emma) Richards, a Barngala woman from Eyre Peninsula to create artworks relevant to the Cummins region.

Eight of her stunning pieces are on display - representing nature, animals, native foods and plants, traditional activities, local stories, and health and healing.
