Did you know some fruit tree netting can seriously harm native wildlife? ๐ŸŒณ

In Victoria, fruit tree netting must have a mesh size of less than 5mm x 5mm at full stretch. Larger mesh is illegal and can entangle birds, bats and other animals ๐Ÿฆ‡

That's why we're taking part in the Net Swap Program, helping residents swap harmful fruit netting for a safer, legal alternative โœ…

๐Ÿš— Driving shouldnโ€™t feel like a game of dodgem cars. ๐Ÿ•ณ๏ธ

Many of the roads around Whitehorse with the biggest potholes and road damage are State Government managed roads, which means theyโ€™re the Victorian Governmentโ€™s responsibility to maintain and repair.

Council continues to advocate for these roads to be repaired, but we canโ€™t fix roads that arenโ€™t ours.

As Mayor Cr Kirsten Langford told ABC Melbourne Drive with Charlie Pickering, itโ€™s time to fix the roads State Government! ๐Ÿ•ณ๏ธ

If you spot a pothole on a local Council-managed road, let us know so we can assess it and arrange repairs where needed. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Report a pothole via Snap Send Solve.
