Today we proudly celebrated Neighbourhood Centre Week 2026 with a wonderful community event. Thank you to our Mayor, Patricia White, for her ongoing support and for joining us on this special occasion.

Our Neighbourhood Centre truly is “Your Place to Connect” — a welcoming space where people come together, build friendships, access support, and strengthen our community. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success.

💚 Youth Homelessness Matters Day 2026 💚

We’re coming together as a community to support young people experiencing housing insecurity in the Shoalhaven—and you can be part of it.

🧴🥫 Donate what you can:
• Non-perishable food
• Hygiene products
• School supplies

Every small contribution helps create safety, dignity, and opportunity for young people doing it tough.

📍 Drop-off locations:
• headspace Nowra – 96 Kinghorne St, Nowra
• Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services – 41 Worrigee St, Nowra & 2/80 Park Rd, East Nowra

Approximately 1 in 8 households across Australia experience food insecurity. With the rise in the cost of living, things like groceries and bills are becoming even harder to manage.

To help, we have put together a list of supports available in the Nowra, Bay & Basin, and Ulladulla areas.

Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services proudly celebrated Harmony Week in East Nowra with a vibrant and heartwarming community event. It was a wonderful day filled with cultural sharing, delicious food and meaningful connections. The event brought people together to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the strong sense of community that makes our region so special.
