A Neighbourhood House offering community events, classes and services for our local neighbourhood. There's a lot happening at NHNH in 2021.

We are a community organisation that offer courses, venue hire as well as organise events to bring together members of the community. We are growing and reaching out to more people in the community. Get ready for three packed days of fun, creativity and adventure at NHNH!

Join us these Spring School Holidays for an exciting program packed with hands-on activities, games, crafts, cooking, STEM challenges, and special incursions.
Every day is designed to spark curiosity, build friendships, and keep kids entertained in a safe and welcoming environment.

Perfect for children currently in Prep to Grade 6, our holiday program is a great way to make new friends, try new things, and have plenty of fun these school holidays.

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our Community Dinner last Friday and helped make our Manager Bre’s farewell extra special 🫶🏼

The dinner marked the end of Term 3, and while we’ll miss everyone over the break, we can’t wait to welcome you all back for Term 4 soon! 💛

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Shashi, Indu, Hope Church, Ramona, Hema, Yan, Sally, Deyun, Albert, and all of our wonderful volunteers who have generously helped cook and serve dinners for the local community throughout this term.

Shape the future of our Notting Hill Community.

Notting Hill Neighbourhood House ( NHNH) is a strong, vibrant and engaging community hub. Our vision is to support community inclusion and diversity, social enterprise, community capacity development and life-long learning.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer Treasurer to join the NHNH Committee of Management to commence following our AGM in October. The position is for a one year term.

As the volunteer Treasurer you will be responsible for overseeing the House’s financial management, the maintenance of all records pertaining to the House’s financial affairs, and ensuring that the financial processes of NHNH conform to best practice.

This is a chance to use your skills to make a real, local difference and is an opportunity to gain great governance experience.

Bre has made such a lasting impact on our community, helping many wonderful initiatives flourish whilst bringing her signature warmth and passion to everything she does.

Notting Hill Neighbourhood House will be closed for the remainder of the week due to an unexpected incident at the House. We’re taking some time to assess the building, attend to essential matters and give our staff team an opportunity to regroup.

Our Design and Communications Staff member, Vincent led an oil pastel workshop for our Carers Group last week! 💛

It was a wonderful opportunity for our carers to slow down, get creative and enjoy some time together while exploring the colourful world of oil pastels! 🖍️🎨

Our Carers group had fun drawing mangoes and flowers while learning new techniques and enjoying some creative time together! 🌸🥭

We love seeing our Carers community come together, try something new and making space for creativity and connection!💐

Got a broken necklace, loose clasp or piece of jewellery sitting in a drawer waiting to be fixed? Bring it along to our Jewellery Repair Café and spend 15 minutes with experienced silversmith Sarah Munnings , who will share their expertise and help you give your jewellery a new lease on life.

Book a free 15-minute one-on-one appointment in our Humanitix link below and bring along a piece of jewellery you would like Sarah to look at. Bookings are essential as appointments are limited.

Depending on the piece, Sarah may be able to help with simple repairs, polishing, restoring or repurposing jewellery. For more complex repairs, she can assess your piece and suggest the best next steps.

No jewellery-making experience is needed, come along with a piece you’d love to repair, restore or give a new life to.
