It has been a privilege to serve Bragg for the last 20 years.

I am truly grateful for the support of the people of Bragg, colleagues, staff, friends and family throughout my time in politics.

You can read my valedictory speech in Parliament here https://www.parliament.sa.gov.au/permalink/?id=HANSARD-11-44747.

I look forward to the preselection of a new candidate on Sunday night, in preparation for the by-election on 2 July 2022.

Pleased to receive the Ombudsman’s Report, being the decision of the independent umpire this week, following last year's allegations of a conflict of interest over the proposed KI Port.

The Ombudsman’s findings were clear:
• No conflict of interest
• No breach of the Ministerial Code of Conduct
• No maladministration

The finding that no contract even existed in respect of forestry interests close to my KI property, highlights why the Select Committee was deservedly described as a 'kangaroo court'.

I consider the reputation of the Parliament, and of its Members, including Ministers, is vital to ensure South Australians are served well.

I provided a response to the Parliament this week, in the hope that these matters are appropriately dealt with in future.

Yesterday I was officially returned as Member for Bragg. It is an honour and I thank my constituents for electing me for another term.

Thank you to Returning Officer Annette Tonissen, and to the other candidates, Rick Sarre, Michael Petrilli and Daryl McCann.

A special thank you to my team and volunteers for their unwavering support.

I look forward to continuing to deliver for the Bragg community.

The result over the weekend was incredibly disappointing for the Liberal party.

Despite the outcome, Steven Marshall can hold his head high, having achieved so much for our great state over 4 years. I am proud to have served in his Government, and to have been his Deputy for over 8 years.

I’d especially like to thank the constituents of Bragg for their continued support.

I congratulate Peter Malinauskas and Susan Close, and wish them well for the future.

Happy Election Day!

This election is about who you trust to give you and your family certainty for the future. Who you trust to deliver strong economic growth so we can invest in things like hospitals, roads and schools.

Vote LIBERAL for a stronger future! 💙💪🏼

We can’t risk slipping back into the slow lane under Labor ❌

The new Tusmore Park Wading Pool is open!

I remember taking my sons here when they were toddlers and I’m delighted it has been upgraded. It’s always been a popular spot for families!

Stopped into Woolworths Marryatville to check out their new recycling initiative for end-of-life batteries and mobile phones ♻️

This fantastic initiative forms part of their growing greener plan, which also includes soft plastics recycling and a goal of zero food waste by 2025!

I’m very supportive of their hard work to conserve our environment, great job Woolworths ✅
