Rocky Point Rural Fire Brigade (Jacobs Well, QLD) Rural Fire Brigade based at Norwell Rocky Point RFB welcomes the residents of Jacobs Well, Calypso Bay and surrounding suburbs to join as volunteers.

Applications are to be submitted to The Secretary, Rocky Point RFB, 269 Skopps Rd Norwell or via email at

❤️🚒 Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing Fire Dads in our RPRFB family!

Today we want to acknowledge the dads who give so much of their time to protecting and supporting our community.

Behind every volunteer firefighter is a family that makes sacrifices too. Early mornings, late-night call-outs, training nights, weekends away and those moments when Dad has to leave the family because someone in our community needs help.

These dads don’t just teach their kids about courage, resilience and helping others, they show them.

To all our Fire Dads, thank you for the countless hours you dedicate to our community and for the example you set for the next generation.

And to the families who support them, thank you too. ❤️

Peer Support Officers provide confidential support to fellow firefighters and volunteers, offering a listening ear and helping connect members with further support when needed.

🚒 Rocky Point 81 — First Big Adventure!

It’s off on its first big adventure! 🔥

Rocky Point 81 is heading to Bundaberg to assist with a large incident, deployed alongside one of our Safety Officers.

This is a proud moment for our brigade and a great example of what can be achieved when a community gets behind its local Fireys.

Rocky Point 81 wouldn’t be active today without the incredible support of our local community, local government and Rotary Club of Ormeau Pimpama.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make this vehicle a reality.

Now it’s time to put Rocky Point 81 to work! 💪🚒🔥

Couldn’t be prouder of our team. ❤️🔥

From taking on a 41-storey stair climb in full gear to raise nearly $8,000 for the Fire Fighters’ Cancer Foundation Australia, to then being called into action for a large incident at Jacobs Well this is what being a volunteer firefighter is all about.

Our volunteers give their time, their weekends, their energy and sometimes put themselves in harm’s way to protect our community.

Volunteers aren’t paid because they are worthless.
They aren’t paid because they are PRICELESS. ❤️💙

What an incredible effort from the Rocky Point Rural Fire Brigade team!

Together, we have raised an amazing $7,679 for the Firefighters Cancer Foundation Australia ❤️

These funds will go towards an incredible cause and help support firefighters and their families affected by cancer.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraising page and supported our team. Every dollar made a difference!
