Good luck to the Northam Agricultural Societies qualifying team as they head to the Perth Royal Show to compete for a spot at the Nationals against the other states.

Congratulations to Andrew Ryall, winner of Best Poultry Exhibit in Show at the 2026 Northam Farmers Show!

Andrew’s winning exhibit was Joe, a blue red Modern Game Bantam, who certainly caught the judges’ attention.

Congratulations to Dandalee Park Avril, awarded Best in Show in the Dairy Goat section at the Northam Show!

Our Shire President, Chris Antonio, caught up with owner Trevor Blight, who shared his love of dairy goats and the joy of showing these beautiful animals.

Chris loved the goat show, and we hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have!

You’re Invited to the Official Opening of the Northam Farmers Show!

Join us today, Saturday 12 September, at 11:30am on the Main Oval seating area for the official opening of our 2026 Northam Farmers Show.

The show will be officially opened by the Hon Rob Horstman MLC, with a Welcome to Country by Shire President Chris Antonio.

Come along, enjoy the celebrations and help us kick off a wonderful day for the whole community.

Have you got what it takes to be the winning Young Farmers Challenge team at this year’s Northam Show?

🙋🏻‍♂️Are you aged 18 - 35? If you’re outside this age range, still give Tiff a call and we’ll see what we can work out!

🙋🏼‍♀️Will you be at the Northam Show at 4pm?
Teams of 4, with at least one person of each gender.

🧑‍🌾You don’t have to be a farmer! This is a fun novelty event and everyone is welcome.

💰Prizes: $200 for first place and $100 for second place.

The winning team will qualify to compete at the Perth Royal Show for the State title, with a chance to compete at the Nationals.

With the Northam show tomorrow we will be remembering Graeme Ireland.who sadly passed away last Sunday.A long time exhibitors of the Ag show(last showed in 2024) Graeme showed his poultry at many local shows and shows far away including Albany, Collie and Esperence for many years.

In the photo from the 2022 Northam show Graeme is holding his bantam black red OEG male that won best hard feather bantam in a strong class. With judge Richard and junior exhibitor Liam.
