Another Greens’ win for transparency!

Our motion requiring the Liberal Government come clean on their secretive Firmus AI factory deal has passed Tasmania's lower house.

We have been asking questions for months about the government’s support for this significant project, but the government has refused to answer. But the motion passing means there’s now nowhere to hide, with the government required to publicly release a range of important information.

This is an important outcome because Tasmanians deserve to know what power, funding and resource commitments have been made. We thank the House for supporting our motion.

💚 Elected a new Senator! (Go Vanessa Bleyer, Greens Senator-elect for Lutruwita/Tasmania!)
💚 Doorknocked and letterboxed across the Legislative Council Divisions of Rosevears and Huon to elect Charlene McLennan, Greens Candidate for Rosevears and Paul Gibson
💚 Ran a stall at North West Eco Fest!
💚 Hosted an event with Dr Kevin Bonham to discuss all things Tasmanian politics!
💚 Demonstrated outside Deloraine House to call for ongoing funding and support of this invaluable community service!
💚 Hosted watch parties across the state for the launch of the Greens’ national TAX THE 1% campaign!
