VICSES Corio Unit is now recruiting!

We're looking for first responders and some other important roles:
💪 People who have availability to respond during the day time (including WFH and those that work in the Lovely Banks area)
💪 People with a background and interest in finance
💪 People that want to help by engaging our community on how to stay safe in emergencies (Community Engagement Team).

If you evacuated due to the bushfire at Carlisle River and your home is located within the ⚠️ Advice – Threat Is Reduced area, it is now safe for you to return.

🛑 There is still an Emergency Warning – Take Shelter Now current for Gellibrand, Barongarook, Barongarook West, Kawarren, Carlisle River, and Charleys Creek. If your home is within this warning area, do not return.

Make sure to look at the warning boundaries on the map and open the warning that relates to your location to know what you need to do.

🚧 Sections of Colac-Lavers Hill Road and Carlisle Road are closed.
Plan your journey, check the VicTraffic website before you travel: www.traffic.transport.vic.gov.au

The fire at Carlisle River is still not yet under control. You should continue to monitor the situation on the VicEmergency app or website: www.emergency.vic.gov.au
