North Eton State School is a small school situated approximately 35 kilometres west of Mackay in Queensland. This gorgeous little school caters for students from Prep to Year 6. Can you believe we’ve made it to the final week of Term 3?! 🎉 And what a week to finish on!

🎤 A very special GOOD LUCK to Chase, who is one of our Small Schools representatives competing in the PV Cluster Public Speaking Competition on Tuesday afternoon. We know you’ll do an amazing job, Chase — speak confidently, enjoy the experience and make our Small Schools proud! 🌟👏

🌈 Wednesday is our much-anticipated RAINBOW RUSH! Get ready for plenty of colour, water, fun and probably a whole lot of mess! 😂

Then, before we know it, Friday is the last day of term! 🥳

We’re heading into the second-last week of Term 3 — how did that happen?! 😳

A few reminders for the week ahead:
🔥 Our P–2 students have a Fire Education visit on Monday.
📚 Wednesday is our LAST Homework Centre for the term.
🍳 Hot Breakfast on Thursday.
🍝 Chicken Pasta Bake for Tuckshop on Friday, followed by Parade at 2:10pm.

And of course, a very Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads and special men in our students’ lives today! We hope you have a wonderful day. 💛

Wondering why photos of our fabulous Teacher Aides are mysteriously appearing ALL OVER the school? 😂

For Teacher Aide Appreciation Week, our Year 3-6 students have a TOP SECRET mission: place photos of our TAs around the school without being caught in the act! 👀

The TAs have been armed with BUSTED cards — but weren’t told what the students were up to! 😈 If an agent gets caught, they’re out for the rest of that day’s round.

And it gets harder… the photos get BIGGER each day! 📸😂 By Thursday, stealth could be interesting!

A little bit of fun to celebrate the wonderful TAs who do so much for our students every day. 💚💛

📖 We welcomed Mrs Emms (Guidance Officer) as our Mystery Reader, put our thinking caps on for Guess This Book, and created some fantastic Book Week artwork inspired by our favourite stories.
