Our new Ice Cream Sorter Van combines everyone's favourite summer treat with a little learning. Little ones can match the different shapes and pop them into the colourful ice cream van while developing their problem-solving and fine motor skills. ✨

There's a new case to solve at North Beach Toy Library! 🔎✨
Our police-themed toys are perfect for little ones who love vehicles, role play and big adventures. They can jump into a police car, run their own police station, put on the police dress-up and even patrol around on the police trike! 🚔💙

Whether they're responding to an emergency, directing traffic or simply making sure all the teddy bears are safe, there's plenty of important police business to attend to! 🧸😂

Our STEAM series continues with **S for Science**

Science is all about asking questions, making observations and exploring how the world works. Through hands-on play, children become little scientists as they experiment, investigate and discover new ideas every day. 💛

Stocktake is done, our shelves are looking fresh, and we've made some room for **NEW TOYS!** 🎉

After our recent cull, we're excited to use some of our funds to add new toys to the North Beach Toy Library collection and we'd love to hear from our members! 💛

💛 A HUGE thank you to our amazing members! 💛
Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help check, clean, sort, label and refresh our toy collection. Your help makes such a huge difference to our little toy library!

We've had a big refresh and the library is looking **FRESH!** ✨ We were also able to cull a large number of old, damaged and well-loved toys, making room for some exciting new additions to our collection. 🥳🧸

Why is stocktake so important?
Every year we check every toy in the library to:
🧩 reunite missing pieces
🛠️ identify damaged or unsafe toys
🏷️ update labels and SETLS
🧼 clean and refresh our collection
✨ make sure every toy is ready for another family to enjoy

It's also a fantastic chance to discover toys you may never have noticed before and get inspiration for your next borrow!

Thank you for helping us care for our wonderful collection. We couldn't do it without our amazing members! 💛

Our Dress-Up section is filled with costumes in a range of sizes, making it easy to bring favourite book characters to life. Whether your little one dreams of being a pirate, fairy, firefighter, doctor, superhero, princess or something completely unique, there's plenty to inspire their Book Week adventure. 🎭💛

Borrowing a costume is a fun, affordable and sustainable way to celebrate Book Week—plus, your little reader might even discover a new favourite story along the way! 📖✨
