It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Norlane RSL announces the passing of a true gentleman, loyal mate, and beloved member of our community, Garry Lovett.
Affectionately known to us all as "Double R."

Garry was the very fabric of our club. Whether he was sharing a laugh at the bar, offering a listening ear, or standing proud on ANZAC Day, his presence brought warmth, humor, and a sense of family to everyone who walked through our doors.

Garry was a Life Member of The RSL.
He served initially with infantry and then RAEME for 14 years in the Army Reserve.

To Garry’s family, closest friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, we offer our deepest, most heartfelt condolences.

Rest in peace, mate. Your shift is done.

Our President Craig has made the tough decision to step down from his position, for personal reasons.

The Norlane RSL Sub Branch thank him sincerely for his contributions and leadership over these past months. A special mention must be made for his effort with ANZAC Day, our biggest in recent history.

His efforts have made a meaningful impact on the club and local community, and we wish him well in the next chapter.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who dropped in today.
Not usually a business day, but that didn't deter members from coming in and lending a hand for a spot of cleaning.

We even had our guest speaker from Friday night turn up and get dirty! Thanks Hayden for swinging past and lending your knowledge again.
