It may be Friday, but our school week isn’t over yet! Our amazing Star Struck performers have one show down and one more to go. I can’t wait to see our superstars shine on stage!

Exciting news—our hall is nearly finished, and I’ll be sharing the grand opening date with you very soon.

Don’t forget to keep bringing in those awards! We have another round of Principal’s Awards going out next Friday, followed by a special morning tea to celebrate.

Have a wonderful weekend, and we can’t wait to see you next week!

🤖🐝 Bee-Bots were buzzing with creativity in 3/4L yesterday.

Students became engineers and problem-solvers as they designed their own obstacle courses, created algorithms, tested their code and debugged mistakes to help their Bee-Bots reach the finish line. To extend their thinking, students incorporated biomimicry, drawing inspiration from nature to design obstacles and pathways.

This hands-on STEM challenge connected Science and Technology outcomes by developing computational thinking, digital systems understanding, problem-solving and collaboration skills. It also provided rich HPGE opportunities as students analysed, refined and optimised their algorithms through testing and iteration.

Future innovators in action!

5/6P have been coding their own heart rate monitors!

Using online coding tools, students applied their computational thinking and problem-solving skills to design and program devices that collect and display real-world data.

This learning experience aligns with our commitment to the NSW Department of Education’s High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) Policy by providing opportunities for students to engage in authentic, challenging STEM learning that fosters creativity, innovation and critical thinking.

Fantastic work, 5/6P!

Lunchtime isn’t just about eating… it’s about friendship too!

Today our students were busy sharing laughs, making plans, negotiating the rules of the next big game, and deciding exactly what adventures awaited them at playtime. Between every mouthful, strong friendships were growing and important social skills were being developed.

Sometimes the best part of lunch isn’t what’s in the lunchbox… it’s who you’re sitting with!
