I first discovered the love of painting and hiding rocks whilst on holiday on the little island of SARK in the channel islands a few years ago. When to my absolute delight I discovered some painted rocks whilst cycling around the island. After reading the message on their back I re hid them for others to discover. As I am moving to Noosa I have decided to bring this love of painting rocks and spre
ad some good MOJO here. We could all use it! This activity is open to all ages and requires no artistic ability. Just some brightly coloured paint pens and a sealer (Bunnings has them) to keep your rocks safe in all types of weather. Draw a picture, write a message. Be as simple or detailed as you like! Please draw the fb logo on the back with the name 'Noosa ROCKS'. Upload a photo to this page before hiding with the general area (i.e. name of public park) and approx. time of hiding them. Then avid rock hunters can go and look for their rock treasure. Write 'feel free to keep or play & re hide ' on the back of your rock. Post any photos of your rock treasure finds here also before you re hide them. This is a FREE activity. It is bound to keep your kids off the TV and internet for hours and out in the fresh air. It is a great activity for the school holidays. WARNING: it is also highly addictive and may unleash waves of creativity you never knew you had whilst bringing a guaranteed smile to your face!
