ATTENTION! 2 of our fire fighters are taking on the worlds greatest shave this year to raise money for those diagnosed with cancer. They will both be losing their hair on the 8th of June! Stui Woodside: " ive been with Nobby RFB for 2 years now, and I am donating my hair to raise money for cancer research and wigs. Ive been growing it for 3 years and im ready to get it gone!"

Harrison Auld: "I joined Nobby RFB just over 1 year ago and being apart of it has taught me the importance of helping the community and helping others. That is why im participating in worlds greatest shave, to raise money for those effected by cancer. "

Today is international fire fighters day! It is a day where we can pay respects and appreciate the work and sacrifice fire fighters across the country make, whether full time, part time, or volunteer.

Here at Nobby, our brigade appreciates every single fire fighter that takes the time to assist at trainings, fight fires, inform the community and make our brigade, and community such a fantastic place to be apart of. Your hard work and sacrifice does not go unnoticed.

On ANZAC Day, members of Nobby RFB assembled together to participate in the ANZAC march in clifton to honour those serving and the fallen. The brief rain made the event all the more symbolic and Nobby was proud to have been able to participate alongside so many others.

Our first Callout of the year was a big one! With two fires burning in the Karara area our Nobby crews attended both fires and put our training into practice.

On Monday we practiced truck to truck water relay with our local Clifton Fire and Rescue, only 4 days later we used that method alongside Millmerran Fire and Rescue in a real Incident.

A huge thankyou to both crews who attended the unpredictable fires in Karara, your effort and hard work is greatly appreciated!

On Monday during our fortnightly training we had the fantastic chance to pair up with our local Fire and Rescue brigade from Clifton! As a unit we completed hydrant checks and inspections throughout Nobby and Completed a truck to truck relay drill to cap off the night.

Join trainings allow us to build team skills and learn how each unit operates. This ensures that during active incidents we understand eachothers role, and can work together effectively.

A HUGE thankyou to Clifton Fire and Rescue for coming to Nobby and giving us this opportunity!

If you have an area of concern, message us on facebook with the location, and we can inspect the area and mark down whether or not the area is an area of concern or not.
